You have decided to use WordPress to build your online appearance. Congratulations on that! I am using WordPress myself and I love it! Still, probably one of the first questions that come to your mind is “what kind of hosting do I need and where to get it?”

The right WordPress Hosting

Finding the best hosting solution and provider is not always an easy task.

I started to build a website for my first company using WordPress when I was 26 and since then I have tried a lot of hosting solutions for either myself or for our customers.  Coming to the conclusion that one thing is for sure…  Not all of them are great.

Once we launched a new website for a big restaurant and that exact day our external hosting solution (do not want to mention any names) crashed for more than an hour!! You can imagine me running up and down in the office… Leaving us with no other choice then immediately switching our provider.

Webhosting vs WordPress hosting.

It isn’t really a hassle to install WordPress the normal way. You basically get the server, connect to the FTP with FileZilla (which, in my opinion, is the best free FTP solution for Windows out there), create a database, set up the installation and you are good to go. Still, it is much more convenient a wizard guides you through the process where no harm can be done what so ever.

But are you really finished by then? Despite the obvious (your content) you need to take care of your performance, your security, regular backups, you probably need an SSL certificate and much more. Adding these takes a lot of research, time and sometimes even money.

You already know that slow websites do not rank, that you need all the integrations mentioned above and you ask yourself questions like “Will my site be fast? or “What do I have to consider in terms of backup and security?”.

So wouldn’t it be way easier to have most of the legwork done for you already?

YES (thanks Captain Obvious). Therefore consider a WordPress Hosting solution instead of a normal Webhosting one when it comes to your new online presence. It is quick to set up and they often come with special add-ons and helpers to make your life so much easier.

Now that most of the hosting providers offer you this kind of hosting we want the one that serves us best. And once there, you will never want to go back…

Hosting on Siteground

The evident answer for me after testing a lot of them is Siteground [Full disclosure: This is an affiliate link and you help me by clicking on it]. They have an easy to handle setup wizard that installs WordPress in a matter of seconds including their extreme good in-house plugins and services for better caching and overall performance with a free SSL certificate on top. They attain a high speed, your site will get daily backups, is hosted on SSD storage and much more…

They even offer you a free professional site transfer on the GrowBig and GoGeek plan, as well as unlimited automated site migrations on all plans. So if your website is hosted on another server while you being unhappy about the service – go to their managed WordPress hosting and choose a plan that suits you. They have been around for quite some time now and a lot of tests and online polls have confirmed that Siteground is a big player a lot of customers, including me, rely on.

And on top of that, the support is just amazing. I caused a problem that I was not able to fix so I contacted them through the integrated chat support. They replied within 60 seconds and solved my issue in under 3 minutes. That’s what I call pretty sweet support.

Why choose Siteground

  • extremely reliable with 99,99% uptime
  • easy WordPress setup
  • Auto Daily Backups
  • 24/7 Support (Phone, Chat, Tickets)
  • Free SSL Certificate
  • Advanced Security Features
  • E-Commerce (Shopping Cart and PCI Compliant Servers)
  • In-House SuperCacher for better performance
  • Multiple Server Locations
  • Included Email
  • and more…

Remember managed WordPress hosting might not be the right solution for you and that there are other providers with managed WordPress hosting that are good as well. Consider the pros and cons and decide what suits your situation. In addition, I encourage you to read through other independent testing sites and online polls on social media to verify my words.

Happy hosting!
